Improvement

New look for item cards in Tabit Order

Tabit Order item cards have been updated with:

  • Rounded corners.

  • Extra space between the text and card edges.

  • Consistent image dimensions.

  • Sizing that adjusts when the screen dimensions change.

Changes to how modifiers appear in Tabit Online Ordering

Long modifier text could be cut off in the bubble layout.

Previously, both modifiers and decisions could use bubbles or lists in Tabit Order.

Modifiers now use lists only. Decisions still support bubbles and lists.

Improvement

Enhanced drawer summary log in the cash summary report

Cash drawer summaries now support date-range searches, user/drawer/action filters, and action counts.

Use the summary to review payments, pay-ins, pay-outs, and drawer openings during a shift.

Where to find it:

  1. Open Reports > Cash Summary in Tabit Office.

  2. Choose the date range.

  3. Review the summary or choose Advance Filters to narrow the results.

Insights tab and permission removed from Tabit Office

The Insights tab and its Tabit Office permissions have been deprecated.

Improvement

Create and manage departments for Tabit Shift in Tabit Office

Tabit Shift departments can now be created and managed in Tabit Office.

This setup is restricted to Tabit admins and partners. info

How it works:

  1. Open Tabit Shift > Configuration in Tabit Office and turn Activate Departments ON.

  2. Choose + Add Department.

  3. Name the department, assign its job functions, and select Save.

  4. Repeat until all job functions have a department. Functions already assigned cannot be selected again.

    Every job function must belong to a department before the configuration can be saved. info

  5. Once assignments are complete, select Save.

Connect directly to a specific Tabit Shift site from Tabit Office

The following access change applies to partner users only.

Previously, opening Tabit Shift > Tabit Shift in Office led to the general Shift site and required signing in to the specific site.

The same link now opens the applicable Shift site directly with full permissions, without a separate site login.

View manual actions by customer

Previously, the manual actions report combined Loyalty actions for all customers.

You can now view manual actions for an individual customer.

View additional information for Rewards

Select the i icon under Additional Information to view reward details beyond type, name, and expiration date.

Error now appears when entering an incorrect Promo Code number

Previously, entering an existing gift or loyalty card number as a promo code produced no feedback.

The system now explains when a code exists but is not a promo code and suggests checking the Customers tab for its details.
