Kiosks improve efficiency and convenience for customers and restaurants by reducing wait times, enabling fast ordering, and providing clear visual menus with customization for a personalized dining experience.
To access Kiosk settings in Tabit Office, go to Kiosk > Kiosk Setup > General
Don't forget to select Save in the top rightbefore leaving the page to update the changes on the Kiosk
Order Methods
Define which ordering methods are available on the Kiosk. Check the boxes of the services you would like to display
Settings
Customize customer information requirements to improve order tracking and service efficiency. Check the boxes of the relevant settings
Require Customer First Name
Requires customers to fill in their first name
Require Customer Last Name
Requires customers to fill in their last name
Enable Customer Phone
Allows customers to add their phone number

Require Number Selection
Requires customers to add a number. For eat-in orders, customers have the option to take a numbered card provided by the restaurant, enter that number during checkout, and place it on their table. This helps staff know where to deliver the order.
Skip Bill Printing
If enabled, the bill won't be printed. When disabled, it will be printed at the counter. If the customer's phone number is on the order, it will be sent automatically, regardless of this setting

For the purpose of age verification
Enable Diner Time
Allows customers to add the diner's name to each item they order. The name can be added from the item or the Order Details screen

Kiosk Views
Display different menus on multiple Kiosks. Relevant for restaurants offering various cuisines, for example, separate Kiosks for a sushi cart, and a pizza cart, operating under the same restaurant
Payment Methods
Control which payment methods are available on the Kiosk. You can customize payment display names, limit payment options by order method, and set activity times for specific payment availability.

For limiting payment display for specific hours, select the relevant time slot

Customize your Kiosk preferences for takeaway and dine-in orders, including prep times, tip settings, and key options to enhance service.
Takeaway Setup
Preparation time: Set the order preparation time for this service in minutes
Enable tips: If relevant, adjust the suggested percentage or amount by selecting the Edit icon on the right
Eat-in Setup
Preparation time: Set the order preparation time for this service in minutes

Translations
Select the languages you want to display on the Kiosk.
These languages are pre-set on Site Parameters under localization. Once the parameter is set, don't forget to translate the menu.
Out-of-Stock Display
Hide: If an item is out of stock, it will not be displayed
Disable: When an item is out of stock, it will still be visible, but it will appear blurred, and customers won’t be able to select it

Adjust the visual setup of the Kiosk by customizing text labels, welcome messages, and order summaries to refine the user interface.
