Customize the cash out section in X and Server Reports

The cash out section for both X and Server reports can now be configured in Tabit Office. This allows for the following:

  • Enhanced customization of the Cash Owed calculations

  • Adding Pay in/out cash actions to the Server and X Reports

  • Removes the need to manager Report Tags when working with a new report

New Daily X Report and Server Activity Report templates must be added as print documents

Where to Find It:

  1. In Tabit Office, go to Settings > Activity Reports

  2. From here different parts of the cash out section can be toggled on/off

  3. Select Save to save any changes

This feature is still in pilot. Please consult with Flyght Support to know more information. 

Improvement

Additional information added to credit transaction reports

  • You can now search a range of dates in the credit transactions report.

  This is limited to 7 days

% Fee column removed from DSR

This is no longer relevant due to the new surcharge strategy and has been removed

Return transaction order bill now shows the business date of the original order

Link tickets sent at different times

Before: If an additional ticket was sent to the kitchen for the same course after ticket(s) were already fired, they couldn't be merged to ensure they would be served at the same time

Now: Expediters can manually link multiple tickets under the same order, even if they have already been fired. These changed will also be reflected on prep stations

This feature is not parameter dependent and is available for all sites using Tabit Kitchen

How It Works:
  1. When a new ticket is fired, select the ticket header and then select Open Order View (this has replaced Open course dialog)

  2. All tickets for the same order will appear. Select the header of the relevant ticket and then select the ticket to link it to

  3. Close the pop-up

  4. Now the tickets are linked and it will be easier to ensure proper coursing and service

Display average ticket times

There is a new indication on Expo that shows the average ticket time from fire to served for tickets fired in the last hour

This is dependent on the parameter Display average ticket time (last 60 min) being turned on

Improvement

Review new tickets triggered by course tags

Before: When enabled, Review new tickets prompted a preview window to appear for every new ticket sent to the kitchen

Now: Specific course tags can be defined under Review new tickets causing only tickets with the defined tag(s) to trigger the new ticket window. This is a way to make sure kitchen staff notice a set type of tickets during a rush

Where to Find It:
  1. Set up a course tag

  2. In Tabit Kitchen, go to Setup > Profiles > Expediter

  3. Mark the checkbox next to Display new ticket notification and then select the tag(s) you would like to trigger the Review new tickets window

  4. Now, any ticket fired with that tag will prompt the Review new tickets window to appear

Prevent users from 86ing items on KDS

Kitchen staff can now be blocked from 86ing items within Tabit Kitchen

 This can be done on both Expo and Prep stations

Where to Find It:
  1. In Tabit Kitchen, go to Profiles and select the relevant Profile

  2. Mark the checkbox next to Hide limit item option and then select Save

  3. Now, this specific Profile will not be able to limit items

Display only Manager and Kitchen roles

Only employees with Manager (M) and Kitchen (K) roles are now shown within the selected user list when logging into Tabit Kitchen

Improvement

Save custom filters for scheduling

You can now create custom filters and save them for easy access in the future.

Custom filters can also be created for the Daily Roster Card

Improvements to the special login flow

When logging in as another user, you no longer need to check the Log in as this user checkbox.

Additionally, you are now able to log in as a generic user for a given user type (Owner, Manager, Employee) to see what they see without signing in as them

Set reminders to be sent twice

Reminders can now be configured with two notifications and have the time the reminder is sent, not just the date
