Adding an Item or Offer to the PAD View from the PAD View Tab

Overview

The PAD view is the server's menu view on the PAD. Our system allows you to create a customized PAD view suited to the needs of both the servers and the restaurant. This personalization helps ensure that servers can quickly and easily access the menu items they need to serve customers efficiently.

There are two ways to add an item or offer to PAD View:

Through the PAD view tab (this article): best suited for adding multiple items

Through the item itself: best suited for individual item management 

Always Remember!

Save: saves the edits without updating them to the PAD 
Publish: publishes the updates to the PAD

Follow these steps to add an Item or Offer to the PAD View to be Published on the PAD:

  1. In Tabit Office, go to Menu > PAD View

  2. Select the relevant Menu > Category > Sub Category. Then select the Menu Icon to the right to search for an item, or the + Icon to search for an offer.

An offer can be selected from the item. Once the item is added, click on the price of it and select the relevant offer

  1. Search for the item or offer you want to add

  2. Check the box next to the relevant item or offer and select Add

  3. To reorder the list, simply drag the items or offers to where you'd like them to be

  4. Select Save and Publish to update the changes on the PAD
