Streamlined employee import process
Bulk employee import now supports an uploaded template and a simpler import flow.
In this release, access is restricted to Partners and Admin users.

Update user emails, first name, and last name
User management changes help avoid duplicate users and preserve employee history across organizations.
Previously, changing an email required creating another user, separating attendance and sales history from the original account.
Partners and Admins can now:

Find a user within an organization.

Update the user's name or email.

Review every organization linked to the user before making a change that could affect multiple organizations.
Where to find it:

Before choosing a site, open Manage Users in Tabit Office.

Choose the organization and find the user.
-
Update the required details and select Update.
Improvement
Menu Admin permissions streamlined
Previously, Menu Admin access also required Top Level, which had to be enabled separately during site creation.
Top Level has been removed from site creation and editing. Appropriate menu permissions now provide access to the site's menu elements.

Expanded options for tip suggestions
The PAD now offers six suggested-tip calculation options.
Previously, suggestions could include or exclude tax, with tax included by default.
Six options are now available, still including tax by default. An explanation appears on Client Tip and on the bill footer when configured.

Where to find it:
Open Site Parameters > Tips in Tabit Office.
Suggested Client Tip Amounts provides these six choices:

netSalesPlusTax: Takes the full amount including tax and calculates tip from that (this is the default)

netSales: Takes the order amount minus tax to calculate tip suggestions

salesBeforeDiscountsPlusTax: Takes the order amount minus any discounts including promotions, loyalty promos, rewards cards, OTH, or manual discounts including tax

salesBeforeDiscounts: Takes the above minus tax

salesBeforePromotionsPlusTax: Takes the order amount minus any promotions, loyalty promos, and rewards cards including tax (doesn't include OTH or manual discounts)

New notification when firing without printing
Fire without print on an on-hold course now asks for confirmation that its status will become fired without sending it to the kitchen.
This prompt applies only to new courses that have never been fired.

Additional customer display layout options now supported
Customer Display supports horizontal or vertical layouts through column sizing. It can also show only the customer name, falling back to the order number when there is no name.

Where to find it:

Open Setup > Profiles in Tabit Kitchen and choose the Customer Display profile at the left.

Set Split into two columns at to the number of orders after which a second column should begin.
Improvement
Item tags can now trigger review new tickets
Item tags can now trigger Review new tickets, extending the course-tag behavior described in previous release notes.
Where to find it:

Open Setup > Profiles in Tabit Kitchen and choose the Expo profile.

Under Operation, enable Display new ticket notification and choose the triggering tags.
-
A kitchen ticket containing a selected item tag now opens the notification.
