Customer-Facing URLs (Customer Hub)

What the Customer Hub is (and why it matters)

The Customer Hub is your public, branded portal where guests can see their rewards and gift cards, and (optionally) jump to Tabit Order, Tabit Guest (Reservations), and other guest actions from one place.

Where to configure it

Tabit Office → Loyalty → Settings → Customer Hub. From here you can view analytics, control the layout/branding, and edit the texts guests see.


Before you publish: required Restaurant Details

You must complete all required details to activate the Hub for a site: site phone, email, a contact link, and a Privacy Policy link. Enter these in Customer Hub → Restaurant Details.

Tip: Add your Privacy Policy URL you host on your website to keep disclosures current. (It’s required to activate the Hub.)


Brand Skin (colors & imagery)

Set your main color, upload logo, and choose login / homepage promo images for desktop and mobile. This builds the look of your Hub.

Image specifics you’ll see in the UI:

  • Logo: shown throughout registration; use transparent/solid background as recommended.

  • Desktop login image (desktop only) & Mobile login image (mobile only).

  • Homepage promotion image positions differ on mobile vs desktop.


Main screen layout (what guests see first)

Pick the landing-page layout, then choose the order of areas shown:

  • Full Screen: large images

  • Split into 2: medium images + one/two buttons + my balance (points or prepaid)

  • Split into 3: small images + one/two buttons + my balance


Navigation buttons (your “customer-facing URLs”)

Choose up to four primary buttons at the bottom of the Hub (Rewards, Order / Reserve / Locations / Gift Card / Prepaid Card / Pay, etc.). If you select more than four, the far-right button becomes a “More” menu that reveals the full list. Button names can be edited (≤ 10 characters) and icons can be swapped from the Tabit icon library.

These buttons are the guest-facing links you’ll surface:

  • Rewards shows points/gift card info, directly in the Hub.

  • Order links guests to Tabit Order; Reserve links to Tabit Guest; others link to their respective experiences.


Text

You can keep Tabit’s default text or write your own for various areas; Home page text is desktop-only. (Use this area for concise consent language, help links, etc.)


Analytics (lightweight KPI snapshot)

The Hub’s Analytics tile shows a snapshot of program activity for a selected period: new subscribers, login sessions, and online orders. Use this for quick pulse-checks between full reports.


Security & authentication best practices

For secure sign-in, require an OTP when authenticating customers by enabling Systems requiring a verification code for customer authentication (System → Printing & POS Setup).


Getting customers into the Hub quickly

If you need to pre-load your database (e.g., migrate VIPs), you can bulk-import customers in Loyalty → Customers → File Import → Import File. Then select Customers, download the template, and upload your CSV.


Who can access these settings (permissions)

Use the Configuring Loyalty Permissions matrix to assign the right access to Loyalty settings, customer management, and reports (e.g., Import customers, Loyalty BI, redemption reports). Ensure only designated managers can modify Loyalty setup.


Roll-out checklist (recommended)

  1. Complete Restaurant Details (phone, email, contact link, Privacy Policy).

  2. Set Brand Skin (color, logo, images).

  3. Choose Main screen layout and the order of sections.

  4. Pick Navigation buttons (≤4 primary; rename ≤10 chars; set icons).

  5. Edit Text (welcome/consent/help) and save.

  6. Enable OTP requirement (System Settings) to secure guest sign-in.

  7. (Optional) Bulk-import customers to jump-start adoption.


Troubleshooting

Hub won’t activate

Check that all Restaurant Details fields (phone, email, contact URL, Privacy Policy) are filled.

Some buttons aren’t visible

If you selected >4 buttons, the last becomes “More”; open it to see the full list.

Guests can’t log in securely

Verify OTP is required in System Settings.

Branding looks off on mobile

Remember desktop and mobile login images are separate.
