Keep a log book and keep communication open!

Owners/managers can now add notes to a log book that is visible to other owners/managers as well. When a note is added the time, shift, and name of the person who added it appear, keeping everyone on the same page.

Shift Notes Are Now Available on the PAD

Managers can now create, edit, and delete shift notes directly from the PAD in the 86/Notes tab. Keep your team updated and your shifts running smoothly with this streamlined solution.

  •  Quick access for managers: Add important notes or updates directly through the PAD.

  •  View-only access for staff: Non-manager users can view shift notes to stay in the loop.

Guests can now add Client Tip when paying with a gift card

Tipping just got easier! When a guest pays with a gift card, the system will now check the balance and offer tip options accordingly — no need for “Tip by Server.”

Here’s how it works:

  • Enough balance? Customers see the standard tip options.

  • Partial balance? Only the relevant tip options are shown.

  • Not enough balance? The system follows the existing process

This update ensures a smoother checkout experience for both staff and guests.

Display average ticket times

We’ve added a new feature to Expo that shows the average time it takes for tickets to go from “fired” to “served” in the last hour. This gives you a quick view of how efficiently orders are being completed by the kitchen.

This is dependent on the parameter Display average ticket time (last 60 min) being turned on in Tabit Kitchen
