Send digital receipts after any payment method
After payment approval, Print/Send receipt offers the configured SMS, email, print, or No receipt options. For split payments, All Receipts supports printing; select an individual payment to use other configured channels. Availability follows Regional Settings > Supported receipt channels.
Separate payment recovery from Offline Mode
Operations now separates Payments from Offline. Payments contains Store & Forward and Manual Credit Backup controls; enabling them requires manager login. Offline contains site/PAD Offline Mode and connectivity status. The former names Offline Payments and Alternate Credit have been replaced.
Clearer Ingenico authorization recovery
If a system or network error interrupts Ingenico authorization and a backup account is configured, the PAD offers Manual Credit to open the backup flow or Back to return without enabling that tender. Other failed payment actions receive clearer role-specific guidance.
Store & Forward safeguards
Only managers can cancel payments in Store & Forward, suspended, or offline mode. Orders containing Store & Forward payments can still be suspended after that mode is disabled. Customer-details collection is controlled by Base > Payment Settings > Collect customer details in a Store & Forward payment flow, with Required as the default, Optional, or None.
Device and usability improvements
Google login is available on the PAD. MagTek charging adapts to whether the iPad is on external power, and support-managed firmware updates reconnect and run a health check when complete. Consult support before changing firmware or charging parameters. Opening an order already closed elsewhere now shows a clearer explanation and refreshes the table screen.
