What is a Quick Tab?
Overview
A Quick Tab is ideal for high volume bar atmospheres where speed of service is the key and focus of the establishment.
Additional Features of a Quick Tab:
Designed for fast sales processing in high-volume settings.
Features a quick pay button on the order screen.
Bypasses steps like sending items to the kitchen and selecting payment types.
Automatically opens a new tab for continued service.
Reduces the need for customer info entry, enhancing speed.
Tabs can have a tap method instead of a drag and drop method like seated tables do.
Note that there is a Site Parameter which either allows or disallows this option.
Contact Flyght Support if you need this parameter to be adjusted.

A quick tab takes that even a step further and introduces a quick pay button on the bottom of the order screen. This quick pay button bypasses the need for:
Using the fire button to send items to the kitchen/printers
Going over to the payment screen, selecting your payment type, and then taking payment
Quick tabs include a quick pay button on the bottom of the order screen, which bypasses the need for the 3 steps required to close a tab. It can also be set to automatically open a new tab so that the bartender/order taker is on the screen they need to be on to start another tab or sell another item.
The quick tab button also bypasses the need to enter in the customer's info or card number. This function also enables quicker service.
Please contact Flyght Support to enable quick tabs if they are not already enabled for your site.
