Recovering from Offline Mode

Overview

Once connectivity has been reestablished, the site can be moved back online

Follow the steps below to learn how to take a site back online and recover from offline mode:

  1. On the Spooler PAD, go to Operation > Offline and tap Switch Site to Online mode

  2. When the Spooler moves the restaurant back online, each connected PAD will show a pop-up asking if they would like to process the Orders taken on the device while in Offline Mode, or if they would like to wait until later Orders get processed individually, and depending on the number of Orders you may choose to process them later so as not to tie up the PAD as it processes Orders

  3. If Not Now is selected, the PAD will remain in Offline Mode and the individual PAD must be taken back online manually

  4. A notification will appear when all Orders have been processed and service can continue as usual
