Tabit PAD
PAD V12.2
Updates
Save and resume gift-card orders
Gift cards can be added to an order before payment and saved with Save to active orders. Reopen the order when the customer returns to complete payment and load the cards. Card statuses show whether each load is ready, in progress, loaded, or failed; recovery actions allow retrying, replacing, or skipping a failed card. Cards are loaded only after payment.
Clearer split checks
Split Check item cards now show priced modifier names, including positive or negative prices and nested priced selections. Free modifiers remain hidden.
Find house accounts by name
From PAD 12.1.1, account-name search can supplement phone-number lookup. Base > Miscellaneous > House Account Search by Name controls availability for managers or all users and is off by default.
Receipt and device fixes
The Base > Payment Settings > Allow to bypass invoice printing parameter now controls the receipt prompt. When false, receipts print automatically; when true, the send/print screen appears. Ingenico setup now retries error 4939 before reporting the final health-check result.

Office V9.6
Updates
Create employees and assignments together
Managers with Staff permission can select job-function assignments while creating an employee. Employee-rate permission controls whether default and custom rates are visible. Creating an employee without assignments remains supported.
More precise access controls
Separate PAD permissions are available for Reports & End of Day, Fees, Item Availability (86), and Shift Notes, requiring PAD 12.2 or later. A Feedback Reports permission controls access to feedback reports.
Kitchen routing and reporting improvements
Kitchen Queue category fields now use a searchable category tree with branch selection and removable tags. Suspended-order and business-day notifications use dismissible message bars. System users show identifying details in Attendance & Sales. Reasons still linked to open comps or discounts cannot be deleted.

Updates
Preview item details before ordering
Customers browsing View Menu can open an item to read descriptions, view images and nutritional information, and inspect available options. This is a read-only preview; they must start an order to select options or add items to the cart.
Create circular delivery areas
Select Add delivery zone and choose Polygon, Circle, or Rectangle. A circle accepts an exact radius in kilometers. Automatic radius creates an editable 3-kilometer circle centered on the restaurant. Create the smallest circular region first, then expand outward.
