How to Set up a Promotion

Overview

Promotions can be used to give customers incentives to purchase certain items, come at certain times, and more. Promotions can also be created that are only applicable for customers who meet specific criteria, ex: a promotion for police officers.

Four Conditions:

  1. Guest: Based on a targeted guest. This requires a segment to be set up as well

  2. Unit: Requires the customer to purchase something to receive the promotion. Ex: BOGO promotions

  3. Club Member: Available to club members only. The site must have an active club program for this to be an option

  4. Date and Time: Available at a specific date or time. Ex: Happy Hour promotions

The above conditions can be mixed if needed. Ex: A BOGO (unit promotion) only available on Tuesdays (date and time promotion)

 Creating and changing promotions should not be done during operational hours
