What you can control (and where):

  • Include add-ons in accrual: Turn on Include paid add-ons in reward calculations? if you want modifiers/add-ons to count toward rewards value. (System Settings → Rewards Setup)

  • Rounding behavior (rewards values): Are rewards values rounded? rounds rewards to the nearest dollar. (System Settings → Rewards Setup)

    Note: Tabit exposes a single rounding toggle here; there isn’t a separate “per-item vs per-check” rounding control in the system settings UI.

  • Discount/comps treatment: Should points be accumulated on an order with a POS discount? controls whether discounted orders still earn. (System Settings → Points setup)

  • Payment-method exclusions: Points will not accumulate when paying with these payment providers (e.g., exclude Gift Card payments from earning). (System → Points setup)

  • Minimum spend to redeem: A minimum transaction required to redeem benefits? sets a check-amount floor before a guest can use rewards. (System → Rewards Setup)

Recommended practice: Keep “include add-ons” aligned with menu strategy; most brands enable it so guests aren’t penalized for modifiers.
