Gift Card Reports: An Overview

In Tabit Office, we can run a wide variety of insightful reports on Gift Cards that are useful in analyzing their performance.

To run Gift Card Reports, refer to the steps below:

1. Login to Tabit Office with your Manager credentials

2. Go to Loyalty > Reports

   

3. Select which report you’d like to run:

   • Gift Card Summary
     The Gift Card Summary Report is a powerful tool for tracking and analyzing gift card activity within a specific date range. This report provides a quick overview of the total financial liability by comparing the amounts loaded onto gift cards versus the amounts redeemed during the selected period.
     Key Features:

     • View, Search, and Filter: Easily view, search, and filter gift cards associated with your site over a defined time range. You can filter by various criteria, including Date/Time, Card Number, and more, to get the most relevant data.

     • Load vs. Redemption Tracking: The report helps you quickly understand the balance between gift cards loaded (sold) and redeemed (used) within the specified date range, offering insights into your gift card liability.

       

       How to Access the Report:

     • In Tabit Office, go to Loyalty > Reports > Gift Card Summary

     • By default, the report displays data from the last 30 days, but you can adjust the date range up to a year. If your restaurant uses multiple gift card series, you can also filter by those series

     • Select Apply to generate the report for your selected date range.
       FAQ:

       • Why is my Total Balance Negative?
         A negative balance indicates that more gift cards were redeemed than loaded during the selected date range. A positive balance means more gift cards were loaded than redeemed.

       • How do I export the Gift Card Summary Report to Excel?
         To export the report, click the xlsx button at the top right corner of the screen. This will instantly download an Excel version of the report.
         

   • Gift Card Report

     • A detailed report of digital-only gift cards based on a determined date range

     • Filter this report by Date/Time, Card Number, Sender/Detail, Recipient/Detail, Load Amount, Order Number, Current Balance, and Status

     • This report also allows you to view and copy the purchase receipt, edit sender/receiver information, and track text confirmations sent to each guest

       

       

   • Gift Card Balance

     Quick tool to search through Gift Cards by Card Number, Series, First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, and Balance ($).
