Gift Card Transactions Summary in the Daily Summary Report

Overview

The Daily Summary Report (DSR) gives an overview of all the metrics needed to manage daily business operations. It covers areas such as sales, payments, and other important sections.

Follow the steps below to view a summary of gift card transactions in the DSR: 

1. In Tabit Office go to Reports > Daily Summary

2. Select the time period you would like to view 

3. Scroll down to the Payments section

4. Under the Prepay section, you can view all the Gift Card transactions for the current day or the chosen time period.
   The name of the gift card series will appear directly under the Prepay section of the payments

   

5. How to read these numbers:

   • The displayed records do not show the individual redemption and loading of gift cards. Instead, they show the total numbers for both redemptions and card loading

   • Payment Amount: The total sum of all transactions involving gift cards - Redemptions AND loads. 
     Gift card loads, which refer to adding money to the gift card for future use, are always represented as negative numbers. This means that if there are more loads than redemptions (when the gift card is used to make a purchase), the number will be negative. Conversely, if the redemption numbers are greater than the load numbers, the number will be positive

     

     Digital gift card purchases are not included in this report.
     

To view individual transactions for each gift card transaction:

Go to Loyalty > Customers > Transaction Center: Select the date range, sites, and the series and then select Apply
