Routing Kitchen Tickets on the Pad

How to re-route a Kitchen Ticket on the PAD

If needed, Kitchen Tickets can be routed to different printers from the PAD.

  1. From a Manager Profile, tap Operation in the top right of the screen and then select Printers > Kitchen Ticket Setup

  2. Long press on the relevant Prep Station

  3. Toggle the printer(s) you would like to be connected to the Prep Station and then select OK

  4. A list of the printer(s) connected to the Prep Station will appear. Tap OK

  5. Kitchen Tickets will now print to the designated printer(s)

Kitchen Queues are item/category printing queues that can be associated with multiple printers to determine routing.

Follow the steps below to learn how to link or unlink printers to a Kitchen Queue from the PAD

Only Managers have access to printers from Tabit PAD

  1. Select the Operations tab at the top of the screen

  2. Select Printers > Kitchen ticket setup

  3. Long press and release anywhere on the line of the relevant Kitchen Queue

  4. On the printer definition screen, toggle the relevant printers on/off as needed and then select OK

  5. A summary of the printers connected to the Kitchen Queue will appear. Select OK

  6. Now the printer has been added to the Kitchen Queue, as seen below:
